Welcome!

I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Laurie and I’m an artist working mostly in graphite these days.  Animals and special places are what I love to draw. My goal is to capture the personality and character of an animal or the power or unique quality of a place.

Primarily I’m an animal artist; dogs, horses, and the wildlife of the American West.I’m also drawn to landscapes and subjects that resonate with me, such as the mountains of Wyoming and Montana and the history and beauty of Ireland.

I’d like to invite you to take a few minutes to browse my site. Perhaps you’ll see something that resonates with you as well.
